WE ARE KATHRYN & PERRY
We are Kathryn & Perry, a husband and wife photography team shooting our way across the country and around the world. We love to photograph artists & entrepreneurs, dreamers & explorers, movers & shakers, makers & risk-takers and – best of all – CRAZY-IN-LOVE couples. Our life’s mantra is: Master your craft and live life to the fullest. We believe life is meant to be a beautiful adventure – one that is meant to be shared with others. One that is spent pursuing passions, developing crafts and investing in the lives of those around you. We’ve turned our dreams into our reality and our passion into our profession, and we are so very fortunate to be able to do what we love every single day. Owning our own business and working at a craft that we both love has always been a dream. To us, photography is more than pictures – it is about building relationships and being a part of milestone moments in the lives of others.
We took a year to live in 650 square feet.
We live in a tiny, charming 1920s era apartment.
But we hope someday to live on a countryside farm, with rolling fields, chickens and goats.
We got hitched in a park and held our reception in an old mill.
We want to shoot ceremonies from mountain tops and receptions in thrift shops.
We love our jobs.
We love working with other makers and entrepreneurs to document their passions and their crafts.
Kathryn is a North Carolina girl who grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Perry is a Colorado native and proud of it.
Perry drives a Ford Bronco he’s had since high school.
Kathryn is addicted to staking out estate sales for good steals and is a huge sucker for breakfast dates.
Perry makes a mean Old Fashioned...fashioned (couldn’t resist) using his father’s recipe.
Kathryn prefers a CapRock Gin & Juice.
Kathryn is almost an amateur expert on exotic animals.
