One life-changing declaration led to countless life-changing decisions, and, ultimately, to one hell of a life-changing year. We made a promise to take a year. To take a year to stretch more, to risk more, to run faster, to pursue our passion. We refocused and we recharged. We transitioned a business we’d been working at for years into an incredible new adventure. We hoped for success, and we prepared for a failure or two. Everything around us seemed to be telling us we needed to have more. In our hearts, we felt we needed to do more. Be more.
After many late night cocktails and even more early morning coffees, we realized:
1. We are passionate about capturing pivotal moments in life.
2. We are not just photographers. We are explorers and relationship builders.
3. We are inspired by people who take risks to follow their dreams and chase their love.
We decided to step out of our comfort zones. And, well… We left behind spacious, suburban loft-living for a teeny apartment. This first step through change seemed to mark the beginning of a new way of life, and ignited a passion to pursue our dreams. Since then, we traveled to Europe. We worked with the most incredible clients. We shot more weddings than any year before, expanded the business to make a space for editorial and commercial work, and became a part of a creative community that we are so thankful for today. After six years of marriage, four years of owning a business and countless weddings later, we finally have pinpointed why we started this business in the first place — to document crazy-in-love couples and adventurous entrepreneurs, and to create real, lasting relationships with our clients.
We want to tell the tales of those…
…who smile with sincerity
…who challenge conformity
…who explore endlessly
…who LOVE loudly.
