We’re in Chicago, shooting a wedding. We meet John on the dance floor. He’s the best man and a damn good dancer. He looks at Perry and says, ” You see that girl over there? I’m going to ask her to marry me and when I do, I’m calling you!” Sure enough, here we are a year later, in Brooklyn shooting their engagement session. Sometimes you just meet people who turn your life upside down. People who welcome you into their lives, who make you a part of their adventure, and who ask you to document one insanely special day in their lives. John and Youn are those people. She studied at Juilliard, he did his residency in Manhattan, so it only seemed right to document their engagement in the city that never sleeps. So many photos to share! So here we go! Brooklyn Bridge. Hailing cabs in Tribeca. Cobblestone. Brooklyn Roasting Company. Freezing our butts off in Dumbo. It was everything a destination engagement session should be and more! John and Youn, we are so happy to call you friends and to be on such an incredible journey with you. Can’t wait for your wedding in May!
