Spent one of the last days of summer with these two love birds out at the TAXI Development in the Rino District. Some fun in the sun by the sand pits and swimming pool. We love the energy and colors around this place. Even more, we love the BIG LOVE and energy around these two. Can’t wait for their Fort Collins wedding next summer.

 

We’re in Chicago, shooting a wedding. We meet John on the dance floor. He’s the best man and a damn good dancer. He looks at Perry and says, ” You see that girl over there? I’m going to ask her to marry me and when I do, I’m calling you!” Sure enough, here we are a year later, in Brooklyn shooting their engagement session. Sometimes you just meet people who turn your life upside down. People who welcome you into their lives, who make you a part of their adventure, and who ask you to document one insanely special day in their lives. John and Youn are those people. She studied at Juilliard, he did his residency in Manhattan, so it only seemed right to document their engagement in the city that never sleeps. So many photos to share! So here we go! Brooklyn Bridge. Hailing cabs in Tribeca. Cobblestone. Brooklyn Roasting Company. Freezing our butts off in Dumbo. It was everything a destination engagement session should be and more! John and Youn, we are so happy to call you friends and to be on such an incredible journey with you.
