Weddings at The Lyon’s Farmette are always incredibly beautiful, even more so when the couple is as creative and stunning as Brian and Ashley. Everything from the bohemian macrame wedding arch and tribal rug to their spiritual rite of passage ceremony – everything was so intention and so personal to their story. We felt so honored to be there to document it all. The bridesmaids wore dresses from Weddington Way and Ashley shined in a Amy Kuschel gown.

 

 

 

                

Jaden and Erica decided to plan their casual, campground inspired wedding at a private, family owned ranch in Grandby, Colorado. This property dated back to the early 1800’s and had taken on many faces over the years. This mountaintop setting was simply breathtaking and the interior of the ranch rivaled the set of a Wes Anderson film. The week of the wedding, the bride, groom, and their crew bunked up on the grounds staying up late over campfires and waking up to fresh coffee and incredible views. We loved capturing the hustle and bustle around the camp as bridesmaids readied the ceremony site at the top of the hill and friends and guests enjoyed breakfast overlooking the canyon before the ceremony. Erica and Jaden’s slower paced day filled with friends and family represents everything we love about Colorado mountain weddings.
